The quarry stone walls dating back to 1800 are a piece of living history. Son Favar is representative of a long history of Mallorcan identity. Part of the venerable building, a tower, is even protected as a World Heritage Site. The estate has a rich agricultural past, which is why the beautifully restored villa is surrounded by several other buildings. Some of these are used for the care and maintenance of the property, others belong to quiet neighbours who have right of way on the property to access their own land.

This is a Fincallorca holiday home.

However, the friendly neighbouring couple would in no way disturb your well-deserved, peaceful holiday. Especially as the house itself is surrounded by a marvellous garden full of lush Mediterranean vegetation. The organically shaped pool is located a short distance from the house, but is surrounded by fragrant flowering plants, delicate little walls, palm trees, cypresses and olive trees and is perfectly sheltered from view. Sun loungers in the shade of bamboo umbrellas invite you to lie down and relax on the lush green lawns. Thanks to the outdoor shower and separate toilet, you can enjoy the sun outside all day on warm days and refresh yourself in between. They are just as practical after a friendly game of football or volleyball on the in-house pitch. Our youngest guests will love the swings. Several wildly romantic seating areas are scattered throughout the garden, so that every guest can find their personal favourite spot in this natural gem. And why not round off the day with a BBQ together, sitting under the awning in the beautiful guest garden, listening to the crickets chirping and enjoying the warm evening and good company?

However, it shouldn't just be nightfall that draws you into this fantastic house. Even though the authentic walls exude a touch of antique charm, the interior of the villa is full of modern details that skilfully interact with the rustic atmosphere of the rooms. Exposed brickwork, whitewashed walls, dark roof beams, vaulted ceilings, split levels, open galleries with cosy seating areas and small alcoves are just waiting to be discovered. Everything in this house is designed for comfort while offering modern facilities in the beautiful living and dining room. The kitchen has been adapted to the architectural situation and is housed in pretty little alcoves. The modern, fully equipped, elegant kitchen in trendy country house style is just as impressive as the modern seating area, where stools invite you to relax while you sip your morning coffee and let the day begin slowly. Perhaps even while your fellow travellers enjoy a restful night in one of the romantic bedrooms, which offer plenty of space for up to ten holidaymakers in cosy rooms equipped with either a double bed or two single beds (bed sizes vary between 1.80, 1.50 and ...). 2 x 0.90 m each). As the house also has five colourful showers and bathrooms, three of which are en-suite, as well as two additional guest WCs, you are guaranteed complete independence. You alone decide when to start your day, whether together or at different times. Late risers will find just as much peace and quiet here as early birds, who may wish to spend the morning exploring the surroundings of Capdepera.

The ancient Villa Son Favar, with its foundation walls dating back to 1800, offers historical charm. The property with its beautiful garden and pool area is located south of the medieval town of Capdepera and can be easily reached by car in just a few minutes. Go there to buy groceries and other necessities, or visit the farmers' market that takes place every Wednesday in the Placa del Orient. The beaches of the east coast, such as the stunning sandy cove of Font de Sa Cala, are only 4 kilometres away.
