Beautiful vacation home in the North Hessian mountains with lake view.

Look forward to this cozy and comfortable vacation home, which is located in a vacation home park. On two floors, you will find everything you need to feel at home and can gather on the sofa in the evening to play games or watch a movie. In the morning, you can enjoy the sunshine and your coffee on the terrace or balcony, from where you have an excellent view of Lake Ibra reservoir. So end the evenings with a barbecue on the terrace and enjoy your free time and doing nothing.

If you want to be more active, you can explore a fitness trail and hiking trails nearby and enjoy the tranquillity of nature. Nestled between the Knüllwald and Fulda valleys, in the middle of the North Hessian mountains, lies the Rotkäppchenland. The name is reminiscent of the home of the Brothers Grimm and is part of the German Fairy Tale Route. Numerous well-developed hiking and cycling trails invite you to explore culture and nature, such as the Rotkäppchenland railroad cycle path, the Schwalm cycle path and the Fulda cycle path. The Little Red Riding Hood Region is also characterized by a large number of museums, which provide excellent insights into the history of the region and numerous special features.

Bad Hersfeld, which is only a few kilometers away and welcomes visitors with a fantastic half-timbered old town as well as numerous spa, cultural and leisure activities, is also a highly recommended excursion. The abbey ruins are considered the largest Romanesque basilica north of the Alps and are now the largest Romanesque church ruins in the world.
