Villa Auliva is located in the south-east of Sicily, in the province of Ragusa, 7 km from the Playa Grande beach, 8 km from Donnalucata and 13 km from Scicli, a baroque jewel of the Val di Noto.
It is located in Contrada Monsovile, a characteristic, quiet and peaceful countryside area.
It is a few minutes drive from the beautiful beaches of fine golden sand of the coast of Marina di Ragusa and boasts an excellent position for those who want to base themselves in the tranquility of the countryside, not far from the sea and close to the tourist destinations of south-eastern Sicily ( Ragusa Ibla, Modica, Scicli, Noto and Syracuse).
The Comiso "Pio La Torre" airport is 40 km from the villa.

Refined villa with swimming pool and views of the typical Iblean countryside, near the sea and the beach of Donnalucata (5 minutes by car), 13 km from Scicli. It is located a short distance from the main tourist destinations of the Val di Noto and is the ideal starting point for a tour of the baroque cities. Ragusa is just over 15 km away and is rich in monuments and baroque churches, 18 of which were named UNESCO heritage sites in 2002. During your holiday you absolutely must visit the Ragusa Ibla district, an architectural jewel perched on a hill that offers countless landscape views and 18 UNESCO heritage monuments.

Not far away are Scicli and Modica, two other wonderful baroque cities of the Val di Noto. The tangle of streets, buildings, scenic balconies and churches of their historic center will enchant you.

The area around Marina di Ragusa also offers a large quantity of beautiful beaches, such as those of Donnalucata and Punta Secca, characterized by long stretches of golden sand where you can breathe in the picturesque atmosphere of the ancient Sicilian fishing villages.

Are you a fan of Inspector Montalbano? Just 6 km from Marina di Ragusa, in Punta Secca, there is the beach house used as a filming set: take a souvenir photo in front of Salvo's house and take a nice relaxing swim like the commissioner.

If your goal is to stay one or two weeks at Villa Auliva and take short day trips to see the surroundings, you can easily travel to see the Valley of the Temples near Agrigento or go trekking on Etna.
