This apartment is located in the historic center of the village of Ferrandina, a true architectural masterpiece with white houses with narrow facades, churches and a network of stairs and alleys. The village is located in the most hidden heart of Basilicata, among natural peaks and giant sculptures in clay. The bright apartment is the ideal setting for your relaxing vacation. Tastefully furnished, the apartment consists of an eat-in kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The living room leads to a private terrace where you can dine al fresco and spend pleasant moments of relaxation with magnificent views of the valley and the mountains. This is an excellent starting point for exploring the surrounding area, which offers a scenario of exceptional beauty. Admire forests, streams and water sources, as well as a variety of animal species. Don't miss the open-air geological museum Calanchi Lucani, with its deep gorges and white dunes, or take a nice trip to the nature reserve Oasi San Giuliano. Visit Craco, an impressive ghost town of medieval origin, included in the World Monuments Funds list for its beauty. In 30 minutes by car you can reach the Ionian coast with its golden sandy beaches and crystal clear sea. About 37 km away is the city of Matera with its "Sassi", a UNESCO site and European Capital of Culture 2019. Those who love strong emotions can try the "Volo dell'angelo" (Flight of the Angel) of Castelmezzano: Hooked to a steel cable, you can experience the thrill of flying.
