A private boat and a dock are available at the lake Eklången which also has a swimming area. From Strängnäs and Mariefred you have local train connectivity to Stockholm, where you will find many museums and shops. Some interesting sights nearby include the narrow-gauge railway and the Gripsholms Castle in Mariefred. There are also several golf courses here.

    “Ein wunderschönes Haus. Waren zu dritt dort. Ausser einem Pferdehof ca. 100 Meter entfernt gibt es keine Nachbarn. Herrlicher Blick über den See. Das Haus ist hell und gut ausgestattet. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Die große Küche ist der Hit. Genauso wie das Wohnzimmer oben mit offenem Kamin. Kamine finden sich überhaupt in jedem Raum des Hauses.
    Gastgeber Ulf ist immer hilfsbereit und hat uns zum Angeln sein Motorboot gegen geringen Aufpreis überlassen. Es waren wunderschöne Tage in einem Haus, das für Urlaube im Winter wie Sommer geeignet ist. Wir waren Ende September da. Gerne wieder!!”
