On the heights of the charming village of Couiza, the gîte Les Oliviers offers an exceptional view of the natural landscapes of the Haute-Vallée de l'Aude and the Tour de Rennes-le-Château. The area is ideal for hiking and cycling. All shops (supermarket, grocery shop, restaurants, bakery, etc.) are less than 5 minutes from the Gîte. There are many places to visit around the Gîte, giving you the chance to discover the attractions of the region: the medieval town of Carcassonne, the Pyrenean countryside, the dinosaur museum at Espéraza, the Pic de Bugarach, the spa town of Rennes-les-Bains, or the typical village of Rennes-le-Château and its mysterious treasure. For fishing and canoeing/kayaking enthusiasts, the River Aude is just a few minutes' walk from the Gîte.
On site, Les Oliviers has a lovely private covered terrace with garden furniture and barbecue, so you can make the most of your outdoor meals under the southern sun. A large private outdoor area is ideal for outdoor activities or relaxing on a deckchair. Private, secure, covered parking inside the property.
This 2-storey gîte comprises an entrance hall opening onto a large, bright living room with a sitting area featuring sofas, TV and a dining table, a semi-open, fully-equipped kitchen and a utility room with washing machine. One bedroom with a double bed (140cm) and a second bedroom with 2 single beds (90cm) that can be joined together. All bedrooms have large wardrobes. A bathroom with bath and double washbasin, a separate toilet and a second shower room with Italian shower. Upstairs, a lounge with sofa and board games while admiring the panoramic view of the surrounding countryside. A second separate WC with washbasin next door.
Bed linen and towels are optional extras. Cleaning included. Baby equipment on request. Electricity consumption: 2kwH/day/person included. Excess consumption to be paid to the owner at the end of your stay. WIFI connexion.
