    “In einem Umkreis von 5 Autominuten sind Lidl, Spar, Kaufland und Tankstellen zu erreichen. In weitere 5 Minuten kommt man an den Hafen (und Bummelmeile) von Umag, diverse Konoba's und an Strandabschnitte zum spazieren, sonnen oder schwimmen.

    Tipps:
    Das nächstliegende Umag ist sehr schön, mindestens genauso lohnenswert ist auf Kroatischer Seite die ca. 40km südlich gelegene Hafenstadt Porec'. Dort kann man nahezu jedes Essenslokal frei wählen, bei ausgezeichneter Qualität, ohne sich Gedanken über Internetbewertung zu machen (wo in Umag selbst oder in ruhigeren Umgebungen ein Blick in Tripadvisor oder Google Maps eher anzuraten ist).”

    “Zum Frühstück kann man sich um die Ecke (100m) im kleinen Einkaufsladen frisches Brot und andere Leckereien kaufen. Der Ort liegt ruhig und strahlt eine typische istrische Gemütlichkeit aus. In Petrovija gibt es 2 gute Restaurants- absolut empfehlenswert. Bis zur Küstenstadt Umag sind es nur 3 km und auch bis zum Strand ist es nicht weit. Ein Auto ist trotzdem empfehlenswert. Aber auch mit Fahrrad gut zu erreichen.”

    “Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie diverse Restaurants und Tankstellen sind in kürzester Zeit zu erreichen. Bis zum Strand ist es nur wenige Minuten mit dem Auto. Auch tolle Hundestrände sind zahlreich vorhanden. Insgesamt sind im kompletten Bereich sehr nette Menschen unterwegs. Einen großen Kritikpunkt gibt es allerdings, nämlich die Taxi-Fahrer. Diese zocken einen total ab! Für eine Fahrt über 2 km wurden uns 20 € verlangt! Es wurde behauptet, dass das Taxometer defekt sei! Das war echt eine Sauerei! Zumal es beim zweiten Taxifahrer nicht anders war, der verlangte den selben Betrag und ließ auch nicht mit sich verhandeln!”
